My new ARE aluminum wedge shell, renovating a cabin with it right now, so it needs to be multi-purpose, I can fit 2 roll-a-cots side by side in the back for overnighters, the added headroom is better than what I had in my old taco

Went camping a few weekends in a row and finally got to test out the new RTT and truck cap. I did get a little fancy with a sleeping pads, diesel heater, powered cooler, and battery pack. It rained the first weekend and got below freezing the next weekend, but the warm air from the diesel heater kept the tent nice and comfortable/dry through the nights. I want to camp, but I’m not trying to lose sleep because of cold feet and I don’t like moisture in the tent. One thing I’d say about the iKamper 2.0 is that it’s a tight fit for me, the wife, and two boys, and we are not big people. It’s was ok, but there’s no space for anything other then sleeping bags and everyone is pretty close together.

Yeah we got him at rescue place about a month ago. They were having a "pooches on the park" festival in our home town. I've sent the lady that was in charge that day some recent photos of him and every time I email her she says they looked photo shopped!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Hey, would you mind showing the interior of the new cap? I'm turning a bare one into a camper so I'd like to see what the inside of yours looks like

Try sleeping head to toe and alternate. We are a family of four, with two teenagers, snug bit comfortable for sure.

Quick overnight trip with the kayaks.
Sometimes I like to carry less camping gear, and just eat at a local pub/restaurant, and use the truck as a crash pad.
Less setup and breakdown time = more adventure time!

Hows your experience been with the diesel heater? I have been researching the cheap Amazon ones like that. How are you powering it? Just the truck battery or do you have an alternate battery for it?

Nice setup, the diesel heater is a Wabasto (I might have misspelled it)?, I was thinking about one of those. Is it quiet?, thanks
