    Oh man…
Night 1 out of 21/2/3ish (whatever we feel like) complete. About 30 min outside Erie. Rained all day/night and turned to ice overnight. That made it fun to pack up! Still good times. Heater worked like a CHAMP. Back awning is still closed with zip ties until we can thaw it, works just fine though. Wanted to get a daylight pic but as soon as we stop i go in full setup mode, play after. Got dark right as i finished. So we got morning pics. Should be around Lena, IL when we stop today. California for Christmas (family) then back East the southern route.

Pictures from the fall near Cody, Wyoming (a short drive from the east gate of Yellowstone). Camp site was just off Greybull Highway overlooking the Oregon Basin (10 minutes from Cody).

Too cold for propane torches, so ice build up around the rotors needs to be removed asap before freezing completely solid

I normally part at the trailheads and hike to camp in the backcountry/wilderness but sometimes I camp next to my truck or on my truck depending on location, resources and weather.
Here are some shots from the past 6 months.

From someone who has spent months each year living/working out of a tent in the bush, bears are rarely if ever an issue. Don't cook where you sleep, buy frozen meat, thaw it during the day to cook at night. Wash dishes after eating, keep your garbage (the biggest stinky draw) away from camp.

We would helicopter into a site, set up camp of a 9x12 tent, cook on a coleman white gas stove and have two coolers of perishable food for the week. One cooler would be frozen meat, eat you chicken and pork first, and one cooler of vegetables. Dig a hole to bury the coolers in the ground and cover with the sod/moss layer to regulate the temperature. Each week we'd pack up and fly to a new work site. Never once had a bear issue working throughout northern BC and the Yukon.

It's the CVT UFO light with a bluetooth speaker. Also is solar powered and can be charged. Several of us in the group have one, everyone loves it, no issues so far. The first time you put the springs on is a little challenging but you get used to it.

Made it to FL a couple days ago. No real issues tbh. on-ramp merging is a bit of a struggle (at least in feel), but keeping speed and the balance is good. I've got a sway hitch I use and it helps *loads* with wind and semis passing by. Drafting behind a semi most of the way I was able to get 10-11 mpg which i'm pretty happy with. I'll give another update when i get back to TX.

Oh and i'm on 33's (285/75/16's), but I have a tune on my truck from Downhill Dragon in TX. I think it's a good combo that ends up working well for the towing.

    Oh man…
Made it 3100 miles to Laguna beach, CA Christmas Eve. Cold nights along the way, coldest was only 18 though. Little heater cranked and kept the tent roasty the whole trip.
