Water levels are definitely up there in northern MN. Here is a picture up near the boundary waters in MN with a guy standing on top of a fire grate next to his canoe at a lake side campground

Meanwhile in the west we are camping in dried out lake beds. I much prefer your predicament.

The water level often comes up in the Spring on Sam Rayburn. We like it that way! The bass will set their spawning beds under the concrete campsite picnic tables, on the concrete base. Every table will have a bass on it. Sometimes they are under the park model grills on the grill's little concrete pad too. Great fun playing with them.

Hinge that door on the top and it'd make a nice canopy. Also you got any pics of the interior?

Looks good, is that a bunk for sleeping (it looks a bit narrow & not much height) or just for storage and do you have satellite for the tv? Playoff hockey in the middle of nowhere would be pretty sweet!

It's bunk for the kids, who are quickly out growing it.. it doubles as storage though too.

For the TV, I have a roku stick that I can stream video with. If there is no cell reception I have a laptop/DVD player ready to go. Honestly, it doesn't get much use, just an option on those rainy days

My two kids hate camping. We camped.with them when young and they just hate it.

Just got home(Phoenix) after 4 days of camping at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff @ Fort Tuthill Recreation Site. Btw, the expo was ENORMOUS. If you’ve never been, you should fix that. Literally anything and everything for 4x4, motos, overlanding, camping, fishing- all things outdoorsy. Tons of free swag, parties galore, demos galore, classes, guest speakers, raffles galore(won prob $1000 in raffle stuff between me & two other buds), substantial discounts, free food/booze, plus all the Tacoma and overlanding Youtube/IG ‘celebs’ if you happen to give a shit about any of that. LLOD, Talon, Jesse Rizo, Tacomabeast, Adventure Built, TrailRecon, etc, etc.

A couple buddies of mine rode up on & camped off of their BMW GS1200s, another buddy towed his CB1000R behind his FJ, and I brought my KLX300R. I would’ve ridden my Yamaha Super Tenere but I wanted my dirtbike as a runabout for the expo, plus I took care of campsite cooking duties, so I opted for the Tacoma to haul a larger tent and full camp kitchen. Took the longer scenic route home through Oak Creek Canyon/Sedona.

I went up there this weekend for it with my family. Of course my daughter got sick and I had to leave early before it started. It looked like a great time. Next year I will go without the kids lol.
