The tunnel pic is in the canyon, the camp pic is dispersed camping outside the fee area.

Wagon Tongue Gulch Rd can be accessed through the canyon if you pay the $8 fee (we did to check out the river) but it can be accessed for free if you come in off CR 98 slightly to the east of the canyon.

You were that kid who raised their hand at the end of class and said, " aren't you going to take up our homework?' Aren't you.

I picked the bed up at pull-a-part. A buddy in KY found the frame at a dealer for $50. The dealership replaced the frame under warranty. I cut off the rusted part anyway, so win/win :D I got the axle from compact camping concepts with toyota lug pattern. I used Dobiinsons 111 leafs. I figure worse case, I could scavenge from the trailer to get the truck back since I can use susp and tires/wheels. I have also gone camping where the trailer would have been a hinderance, so I threw the bedrack/rtt on my truck.

The axle, tires, wiring harness, and tail lights have been the only new things I've bought. I gathered used parts for a while

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Damn that is a seriously nice setup!

Here's an idea. Maybe leave the umbrellas up as you drive. Turn off the engine, in neutral, catch a good backwind and save some money on gas. Get one of those handbrakes built from a 2x4 screwed into the door beside the driver seat. Just lever it down to apply the "brakes". Like I put on my home made go-cart when I was a kid. Save on brakes that way.

Maybe sails are the next big thing for fuel efficiency? At least on calm days a good excuse for showing up late for work. Who knows. I better put a patent on this quick...

Sorry for the super late reply, yes it's the kickass brand shower room. It works really well and I'd say it's worth the money because the wife said if she's gonna primitive camp she's gotta have a place to shower.

Thanks for the response. We got a similar shower tent mounted to our roof a few months ago and it's been great so far. Wife is happy and we've used it with a potty setup for the girls
