Any suggestions for pouches/cubes (with zipper’s possibly) that would fit in the small drawer of the Decked System? I recently reorganized and moved my camp kitchen into that drawer and want something to keep it more organized. Thanks in advance!

The Super Pacific camper has built in loops on all four corners that will support a hammock. Incredibly useful feature.

I like that setup. I just picked up a Softopper and it got my thinking along those lines. I like the drawer systems, but losing that headroom is a no go for me. Did you come up with the plans for yours?

Nice, congrats on the new topper! The headroom is definitely a challenge, but I can make it work for what I do (mostly weekend warrior with a couple of week long trips 2x/year). I'm not handy, so this is bought, not made. I like it though, it pulls out in less than five minutes and goes back just as easy.

Loaded up the truck, headed down to Padre Island for 4 days. Got home Friday, spent all day yesterday cleaning the sand, salt and 4,600 miles of road grime off! Worth it.

I took a roughly three-week road trip to do some backpacking in the Grand Canyon. I was solo for the driving and stuck mostly to National Forests and BLM or state land. A friend drove up from TX to meet me at Ouachita NF, and I picked up the two other friends I was backpacking with at PHX for the hike. Stayed with family outside of Phoenix one night and at a campground where I had no choice. I didn't get pictures of every spot, sometimes it took a while to find a good one and put me into the night. Saw four National Parks, pooped in many National Forests, spent some time in Roswell NM, picked up lots of trash, and only slept inside twice.

    Land Between the Lakes

    Oachita NF

    Roswell, NM

Grand Canyon - The main event. Woke up at the campground to 17 degrees and a bunch of snow. We went South Rim to North Rim back to South over four days. They closed the North trail completely a couple of days after we made it through until June for repair. Gratuitous GC shots:

    Apache-Sitgreaves NF

Not quite Cibola NF. Couldn't find a spot, lots of closed roads due to snow but I found a road off of the highway that went way back into some state land. Pretty quiet and a nice view of the highway at night.

Pomme de Terre State Park, the only campground besides the GC. Middle America has a dearth of public land, but it was the last night and somehow I scored a loop that I had all to myself.

Wow - I envy that trip - except the freezing-azz-weather in the Grand Canyon. I can't do freezing cold anymore - it's good to
get away and you were in some great spots - enjoyed the photo-journal of the trip. If the river access wasn't shut down and I
knew you were around I would have taken you to see the wild-horses up on the Salt River just slightly N.E. of Phoenix.

For real, that was definitely unwelcome. Other than that it was mostly low 40s at night which wasn't bad at all. I will invest in a diesel heater for the next one. I had an electric blanket but the Bluetti I have is not big enough to get more than a couple of hours out of it on the lowest setting. I'll have to hit you up next time! I will definitely be making more trips like this. Pretty sure if I could find a meager income to cover food and gas I could travel like that forever.
