Excellent - the maiden voyage - how did it work out?
    Hits?
    Runs?
    Errors?

Hits: this 22’ Rpod is a big step up from our 15’ ALiner. It has independent suspension on each wheel. Twin shocks, coil springs, and sumo springs so it handles rougher terrain quite a bit more smoothly.

Runs: I’m guessing the trailer weight was about 4400 and there was about 100 in the bed and the Tacoma handled it better than I anticipated. Being in a mountainous area there were some hills to climb and my mpg dropped as expected but the truck handled fine. I’m adding sumo springs to overcome a little porpoising.

    Errors: none

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
Did a little family camping this weekend out in the Pawnee

Got away for the weekend with some buddies to do some fly fishing. Able to test out my new awning and awning room for the first time. Did really well and was very comfy, looking forward to using it on some more hunting and fishing trips!

Yes it is a waterport. I didnt have enough space in the bed since we had it packed up with mine and another guy's gear so just threw it on the hitch. Works pretty well when needing to wash off anything, especially dishes and fish. Looking at getting a mount for it that goes on the roof rack however but the hitch works for now.

Two nighter with the boys to kick off summer adventures. I don't usually deploy my tent annex unless we're staying for two nights. It was nice to have set up when some rain came through in the evening. First time setting my kitchen up under the awning and not on the tailgate. Not sure which way I liked more. Overall a solid little trip.
