I know a seamtress who makes packs and alsorts of gear for a big outdoor hiking company
I had made a cheap harbor frieght poly trap shell for my 2nd gen way back when there was a ttora
from a picture I saw there. Since getting my 3rd gen in the past used a trap half way under the bag
and then over the sleeping bag to stay dry in bad weather. I went to her and prevailed in having her
make me a custom cover in waterprood pack material for my 3rd gen. Keeps out rain snow and other
stuff while letting you put the tailgate down so you have room

 

I like that! add a bug screen, magnets as required, and you have an ideal minimal set up.

A few weeks ago at Jasper National Park.

 

Built this in cab bed platform today for solo weekend bike trips up north. Definitely wouldn’t work for taller guys, but I’m 5’8” and can (fairly) comfortably lay out and turn over from side to side.

Will you also take the rear seat back out or leave it in? Looks good and cozy!

 

Planning on leaving the rear seat backing in for now and seeing how it goes.

 

I wasn’t able to get out this weekend but I got the truck and trailer ready for this coming weekend.

I’m wanting to add a house battery (a buddy gave me his old rv battery) to the trailer and store it in the tongue box. Anyone have any guidance? I need to start researching.

I had oil changed before I went and Im going to change it this week

 

I assume the airbag light is now on since the front passenger seat is removed. Have you made a bypass/workaround?

Hip Camp we stayed at outside of Taos on our recent trip west

 

It did have a 60's vibe but a very well run Hip Camp and very reasonable cost and close to Taos
