LOL... If I had that set up I'd have to make sure I was the one who was well behaved, my wife has a set of keys!
Wouldn't want to see what happens if someone moves that truck fast, forward or backwards.

We both love our hammocks so much, this wasn't even a concern!

But it was fun to use non-traditional places to hang from.

What kind of fire pit is that and how well does it work? About to head to Colorado with my daughter and was looking for something portable like that to take along:

Don't know if this is what he is using but the cast iron would hold some heat. I always liked these little Char-Broil grills. Everything folds up nice and neat.

It was a full size pad. No cutting. Just unrolled it and fit. I was looking for a queen but the full size was only slightly smaller. A little room on all sizes. But it was a great fit. That was temporary. It didn't have a cover and it got crazy dirty. I just bought this from Amazon:

Winterial Double Self Inflating Sleeping Pad With Pillows / Camping / Backpacking / Travel / 2 person https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F1JFHW0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_oNZnzb37J7WJK

I've tested it out on the hardwood floors and it's pretty awesome. And it rolls up and easier to store than a pad.

I just looked at that grill on Amazon and this one popped up on the "similar items" list. Really cool idea. I typically try to cook on the campfire as much as possible when I camp but this is a really cool idea and not very expensive. Hell, you could keep it the truck full time and never notice it. I may have to put this on my Christmas list...

I have the Lodge sportsman grill as well - https://www.instagram.com/p/BS-gLjag3UW/

It's great, but it's hella heavy, and it hold the heat really well. I would recommend it :) one thing to note: it stay hot for a while, so just make sure you have some extra time to chill ;)

Where was this? Nice truck man! I've thought about getting one of those tents but I use my bed for my spare and other stuff. I'm from htx as well :headbang:

How do you like Smitty's RTT?
It's the one I've had in mind due to price. And the video reviews I've seen have been positive for the most part

This is in Sam Houston National Forest, this spot is actually gated and you need a reservation and get the gate code to enter, it's a cool little 'private' lake that you can camp on both sides of

@Rhubarb, the grill (and dude in the pic) is my buddy who owns that grill, it's indeed a Lodge Sportman and it works freakin awesome. Buddy there got it off craigslist for $15 I think. Heavy as shit but if you're not backpacking and driving in, I'd definitely recommend one!
