I travel to archery hunt a lot. I just bought a Tacoma and will be camping in my truck when I go hunting. I cant decide whether to get a Truck Cap (looking at the ARE Z-Series) or get a Pack Rack and put a tent on top. Which would you do? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Thanks.

My .02, if its a long bed I would go with a cap. If a short bed the rack.

The cap you can bug out quicker too if needed. With the rack and the tent set up you still have to pack it back up.

    YMMV

I have the long bed and the ARE MX (more head room) cap and love it. Haven't used it for hunting yet since just got this summer, but it's been great for camping and storing lots of outdoor gear through heavy rain storms so far.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
Long bed and cap work great for me. Do a lot of camping/hiking. LEER 100XQ.

I really like the look of that cap. Pricey though, but looks really good.
