Truck caps; how did you run your wiring?

    Looking for a better way to run the wires for my 3rd brake light & dome light. The Leer installer chose a convenient location (for him) to run the wires up into the bed area. However as you can see from pic, that location won’t allow to me to install the bed light there.

    Where have others run the wires into the bed area?

    Flush mounted SAE plug wired into the taillight. This is for my soft topper, so I have to unplug it when I put the top down or take it off.

    the company drilled a hole to the left of that spot, the spot facing to the right in the first picture. so the cable comes out and kind of points to the cab. like around the corner from my bed stiffener

    Cool, thanks. I’m thinking of drilling a hole with a grommet above where bed lights go.
