I recently changed the drums on 2002 Tacoma and once I did, the truck started jumping around when I hit the brakes. It gets a lot worse when I try and downshift. To me it sounds like its not going all the way out of gear or something but I can hear a metallic racking sound when I push the clutch in. sorry if I don't have a better description than that its kind of hard to describe.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Did you adjust the brakes afterwards? Did you completely disassemble the brakes?

could be warped rotors in the front of your truck.
    jumping around?
not getting all the way out of gear- maybe the rod of your pedal is bending, I've had that problem, could be issue with master cylinder, could be out of fluid, or could be a loose throwout bearing in your tranny.
but these sound like two separate issues. hard to help without better description or actually hearing it.
