truck died the other day

    spacer lift 3 in.
    hay guys need some help. trucks a 98 tacoma 4x4 ex cab 3.4.my truck died the other day had it towed home it would not start.checked all fuses and i found my wire harnes was melted to my header it had one big black wire. so cut out the bad part and found there was one little black coted wire and one bare wire inside the black coteing i put them back togather. and it still will not start.someone know what that wire go's to.? or if there's a fuse or fuse lenk on that wire somewere.
