i had one come visit for a few days .

My place is easy for wildlife to venture in and visit.

 

I got a possum that lives under my front porch. He comes for a cat food snack at night. Cool animals.
Beautiful day today finally, no rain. Drove around with the window down most of the day.

 

Always nice, I’ve been up in the mountains enjoying no traffic. It did start to drizzle on my last round today. But nice to wash the dust off.

 

It's FRIYAY!!! 2 more to go.

 

Saturday morning, having coffee and just want to get it done. I really don't like working Saturday's but what are you gonna do? Good thing is only 3 days next week, I'm taking a couple of days off to give me a 4 day weekend. I plan to work on my motorcycle and install some accessories, peaceful garage time.

Fuck, I'm making my last delivery for the day, pull up in front of the place and blow a radiator hose, I thought I was on fire! Smoke was pouring out the vents in the cab, I was ready to grab my shit and run. I got out of the truck to open the hood and that's when I saw coolant on the ground. It was a small return line and it dumped coolant right on the exhaust manifold, lol. Maintenance man here patched me up with a hose barb and a couple of clamps, I had coolant in the cab. So at least I can deliver my load and go home.

 

For the record, I hate people.

Slept in today, really needed that. It's raining here this morning so lying in bed drinking coffee. Feels good. After 60 hours last week I need this down time. After this rain passes I'll be in the garage working on the motorcycle rear rack fab work.

 

Back surgery Friday Happy Cinco de Mayo to me lots of good drugs for me. Let the healing begin.

 

You had the surgery or are going to have it?

 

Dun had it L4-5 Microlumbar discectomy herniated disc pressing on nerves since a year ago. Haven't worked since Sept.

 

I had that, 30 years of back pain went away. Give it time to heal. How's your pain?

 

Pain not too bad taking oxycodone, and flexaril. Came home Fri. evening trying to stay on top of pain for now. I think Monday will be the bad day for pain,who knows.

 

Good to hear, was really bad for about a week for me and then started to get better as I healed. Of course I'm assuming the doctor told you to do nothing, no bending or twisting, no lifting anything heavier than a milk carton, etc. I couldn't even lift a milk carton, lol. I couldn't put my own socks on, underwear was a challenge but doable. I couldn't bend over to even lift the toilet seat to pee, it was a squat down to reach it. After a couple of weeks I started walking, it was tough and I went a little farther every day. Doc said walk all you can as it's the best therapy for you.

 

Monday, gotta go in early because another driver is off. But I've only got 3 days this week. 4 day mini staycation is coming. Im tired and really need a break. Sleeping in and having coffee in bed sounds great! Supposed to have nice weather, I'm thinking a motorcycle ride or 2 is in order. Counting the days..........

 

I was on call all weekend for the wrecker and it was quiet until Sunday night and I got a motor home 2 hours away. Nice fokes, def problems and stuck itself into limp mode going through some mountains.
Monday and I’m moving equipment. Y’all think I’m guna need an oversized permit for the trailer?

 

13 hours yesterday and it will all be straight time. 2 more to go and I can't wait for a little time off.
