Just enough to look kinda cool.
I havent used AM ever, and last time I actually listened to FM radio was a years ago probably because my phone died and I couldn’t charge it. Last time I actually listened to something not on my phone was January 6th 2021 or whatever year it was. And it was on satellite radio because that was the most up to date I could get without reading articles. Anyone who says they prefer listening to the radio is fooling themselves and if your too cheap to pay 10$ a month for Spotify premium or whatever you definitely aren’t buying a new vehicle. There’s 100 different options for music tailored just for me that are free +some adds or podcasts that are free. It’s just not worth it and I think ford reversed their decision because of “AM is used to broadcast road conditions”
Hell yeah, congratulations and remember to leave with your fingers held high :luvya:

So what you're suggesting is someone to "cheap" to spend $10 per month on something that is otherwise free, is incapable of purchasing a new car? How myopic? I'd suggest the person not committing those revenues to countless monthly subscriptions (Office 365, games, spotify, GoPro, AV software, Netflix, Amazon, etc) is vastly more responsible, and financially astute, thusly most fluid and able to purchase that new vehicle. I'm betting you purchase a lot of bottle water?

No it’s the thought of 10$ a month vs 700$ a month (current monthly car payment) I know there’s a lot of free music subscriptions Apple Podcasts it’s free but I also have a YouTube subscription at 12$/month

You know you can YouTube for free . Start adding up all these monthly subscriptions and some people are spending hundreds of dollars for crap.

I pay 8 for Sirius. Haven't listened to the radio in years. The amount of commercials was insane! Well worth not hearing the same old songs. Let's not fool ourselves, these decisions are based on $$.

Tube is great if I'm looking for something specific. Sound quality is not always the best but it's free!

Oh I know, I just do it for the ad free listening and downloaded music. I don’t have any other entertainment subscriptions no Hulu, no Netflix, no Spotify, hell I didn’t even have WiFi at my house for the past year and a half. I just used data.

Gotta get YouTube music, it’s not some pirated version of the song it’s good quality from the artists.

I've been responsible with my earnings, so I don't have a car payment. I own the 2002 Tacoma, my 22 Kioti Cl2610 tractor, my wife's 21 CRV Hybrid, my 23 KIA Soul GT Line, and our modest home outright. Outside of property tax payment, cell phone service, internet, insurance, and utilities, we don't have payments. I can't imagine the burden of a $700 car pmt, a $3,000 monthly mortgage pmt, or the other mountains of debt people excitedly enter into.

There is no way in hell I would have a $700 a month car payment! I'm not working to support my vehicle.
700 plus insurance is my mortgage payment.

Word. Both me and wife's cars paid off. No desire for new. No cc debt, or any debt, just mortgage.

I wish I was joking with 700$ car payments. And that’s just the average so there’s more above even that. IMG_0339.jpg

Naw, just the usual. Have to work the holiday but get time and a half all day plus holiday pay, so it's worth it.
