Truck driver b.s.

Man thats very cool, so lucky my friend.

 

Ya, no clue how it came out of my pocket. No wallet for the weekend but that's fine, get to luckily pick it up Monday morning. Work gave me a spare fuel card to use in the meantime.

 

At the pump digging for my card. Another driver pulls in right behind me. 6 open pumps.
No one's ever accused truck drivers of being smart.

 

Done for the week. I got into it with an old dominion driver today. As I'm backing into a dock, flashers going etc, at the very last minute I see this idiot driving behind me and turning his truck around. He's so lucky I didn't hit him, just luck. I lit into his ass and set him straight. I told him you never drive behind a truck when it's backing up, especially when its flashers are on.. Young dumb ass driver. Again, no common sense or courtesy.

 

I'm sure I did stupid shit as a newbie driver, but I have always learned from my mistakes. People today seem incapable of that.

 

They double down on the stupid and blame everyone else.

 

Taking my motorcycle in for it's first service today. After that I'll be doing my own maintenance. First one they do or it can void the warranty.

I roped myself into some work this beautiful Saturday. Boss called last night and said to just jump on moving a dozer and roller Monday morning cause it’s going to be a busy one. I of course thinking I got nothing going on I’ll just do it Saturday. Forgot I was going to smoke some salmon tomorrow and gotta start the brim this afternoon. Oh well I’m on overtime and didn’t have anything time sensitive considering I forgot to thaw the salmon last night.

 

Day off. Motorcycle is serviced.
Now BBQ lamb chops.

Day off, slept in, coffee in bed and surfing the net, sweetie brought me breakfast in bed, life's good.
Just gotta grocery shop today.

 

Yay get my wallet back tonight!

 

That's my day everyday, construction traffic everywhere!

 

I hate Mondays, lol. 6 days this week.

Blown radiator in the rental truck. Service truck was here to confirm that. Now I'm waiting for them to bring me another truck. Great way to start the week.



Broke down in the hood in Detroit is not a good place to be. I've already been approached by 1 toothless crack whore. Triangles out, trailer dropped, just waiting on my truck. Picked up 1 load and blew the radiator when I pulled out on the main road, gratiot Ave, and that's all I've done today. Still gotta deliver this 2 stop load.
So that's how my Monday is going.
