Truck driver b.s.

The big white building across the pond is a place I go to often to make pick ups and deliveries. Where my truck is parked it's a dead end turnaround, a nice place to sit and eat my lunch. I see all kinds of birds there besides the geese, blue herons, egrets, and occasionally sand hill cranes.

 

Yay! Friday!

 

Yup, slept in til 7, had coffee in bed surrounded by my cats, you tubed, drinking more coffee and just taking it easy today. Roofers are coming tomorrow on a Sunday to lay the roof down on my garage. Hopefully they get it done before the rain comes. I needed a day off with no plans for anything.

 

Here we go again....

 

Monday, rained all night, will rain all day into tonight. I'll dress warm as it will be a cold damp day today. Be safe drivers!

 

Good morning everyone, first day with my trainer behind the wheel. Gonna definitely get some rain on the road today. Everyone be safe out there and and let’s make this money!

 

Not a trucker, but sure do appreciate truckers and their contributions to our country and economy.

My 7 year old son sure does appreciate you on long trips. He rolls down the side window of our van and tries to make you guys honk. When he gets you to honk, it’s all laughter and high fives in that van.

 

Rain finally quit here, supposed to be just cloudy today, and windy. In a rental truck for awhile, mines going in for service, and I hope they fix the exhaust leak! It's leaking around the turbo somewhere and under the hood is all black now, as well as inside the cab doors. I've been driving it with the window down so I don't die!

 

Squished my pinky finger with a lift gate this morning. Nothing broke but it hurts. Not a good start.....and I hate having to do other people's jobs around here cause they suck! Guess that's my job...

 

Half day on the end dump.

Started my day with a flat tire on the rental tractor, had a screw in it. I'm repaired and rolling again.

 

Waiting to get loaded. Guys running behind tonight. Not too bad, I'll be OK, and it's my Friday! If this is the worst thing, it's a good day.

 

Better start to the day, no at tires, lol. Good weather today, rain tonight and tomorrow.

Yay no work tomorrow! I'd have worked it if they asked but I'm kinda happy I don't have to work.

Ugh, Monday, need coffee. Lol.
Well at least it's only 5 days this week, as far as I know. Cooler Temps here this week with highs in the mid 40's and lows in the 30's.
