There's no driver shortages, we've had this discussion.
    There's pay and respect shortages.
    But plenty of mismanagement.

Some company truck that I've never heard of. Not sure. It's not in one of the bank repo areas

That should make things interesting .

Till you pay for the truck pay for the fuel you owe them more then you make.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Schneider lease to own trucks are the grey trucks. The orange are strictly company trucks, as are the black w/orange striping. That truck is too new for a company truck retire.

OD outbid Estes, I think by a lot, for all properties.

Have heard nothing about equipment. With their financial issues, it wouldn't surprise me if the trucks and trailers are in tough shape mechanically.

I can vouch for that. Maintenance was minimal if at all for the last couple of years. Trucks were deadlined for months over simple issues that could have been fixed in late then a day. Trailers were for the most part junk but they could afford to put new wraps on most of them. I pulled trailers out of the deadline so they could wrap them just to put them right back on the deadline. Many of them never saw the road again. I’m so glad this crap is over !!!!

BTW. Most of the trucks were white not yellow lol

What I read the last few days was Estes upped their offer, they now lead the bidding war.

Had my first DOT inspection today, only a level 2 so took all of 15 minutes if that. I couldn’t find an insurance card but no ticket. Called the boss when I got back to service and he said insurance card on the trailer would have covered me. Dur-de- dur

My work is teaching me to drive our big truck next week. Been driving an isuzu box truck for 4 or 5 months but im moving on to the bigger international box truck they have. Little nervous lol. Think its close to as big as i can get without a cdl. Theyre giving me one training day and then sending me off with it the next day on my regular longer route

I went through a Federal DOT inspection many many years ago in Colorado .

I impressed the officer because I crawled along under the trailer and truck.

    No problems noted.
