Good Friday morning driver's hope everyone has a safe day and gets home to their loved ones,have a very Merry Christmas.

 

Well almost. my dumb ass left my earbuds in my truck last night so I have to drive back over there to get them. ‍♂️

 

I learned doubles or even 3 of everything .

The gear stays in the vehicle unless your slip seating which sucks.

They get left in in the truck a lot, it’s running 24 hours at least 6 days a week and parked on the customer’s secure lot when it’s not. Last night they had us move all the trucks to the shop for service during the shutdown. Not secure!! They would not even fuel them the last couple of days so if someone stole the fuel they wouldn’t lose as much as they did last time lol.

Strange How every body loses patience this time of year .

One twat waffle driver with a Triaxle and trailer Thought I should have run the left turn light.

I can be a real prick if pushed thought for a few seconds no traffic to my right pulled over and turned right .

Give them a break for the Holiday . One driver makes everyone look bad.

The best part was I knew who it was they never saw me in the 4Runner.

I can see why some bring on a full on inspection by the Truck Cops.

Then at the next light I pass a Trooper going the other way and just laugh.

I had processed this and more or less put it behind me in a few days I would forget unless reminded .

4500 hundred miles I am just starting to feel comfortable driving the newer 4Runner.

I still like the manual my right foot will soon punch a hole through the floor.

 

Just don’t punch the break… I’ve don’t that a time or two. Even had my poor mom in the car, she thought it was the funniest thing.

 

I was already stopped!!

 

What can I say I really miss the driving part not all the bullshit.

Only 2 times did I need towed one emissions related issue .

One turbo failure that almost sucked all the oil out of the engine.
That was on the Pa Turnpike said it needs towed yet the trailer sat in a wide spot.

I'm enjoying my time off. Baked cookies yesterday, lol. Gonna cook the Turkey I got from work today.
I'll get some time in my woodshop today too. I dont have to be back until Wednesday, I'm enjoying this no alarm clock thing. A taste of retirement.

Going in early today so I can have all of Christmas off. Wife is going to ride with me today!

 

I’d be in the same box with alarms and going back Wednesday but my new dog decided to finally bark after a week of not a sound and I’ll tell you what after I finished shitting myself from that wake up he didn’t even want to go outside he just needed to clear his throat.

 

Takes time for some to adjust and feel comfortable

 

He’s definitely getting that curve the first few days he would barely play and show his character but he’s definitely got a big personality and a big love bug

 

Had a good time. Wife was very excited, she's never been in a truck.
