Shouldn't the chock be in front of the tire? I mean you can't really roll back any further.

Now my question is are these on both sides? If not wrong side because drivers side is where chock/scotch goes so driver has line of sight.
Looking out driver's side mirror you see it and easy/safe access to it.

Notice that it’s behind the wheel on the blind side. And these are the folks looking out for our safety.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Was off Tues. Walked in yesterday, dispatch looks at me and says: Don't be telling me you're retiring. So I said: OK, I'll tell Matt (the boss).

I walk into Matt's office, and he says: So, what's the date?

2/22! First SS check is supposed to hit my bank on the 21st. That means, with 1 day of vacation left, 18 more working days. In some ways it feels surreal and in some ways it can't come fast enough.

Since Greg's incident, I'm friggin' paranoid. I think my worst fear is to get severely injured this close to being done. I have too many things to do yet for that to happen.

I feel the same way. 3.7 years can't come fast enough. I can't wait to retire! My girl has been retired for a couple months now, she is so happy with life now. I'm sick of the rat race. And now having to work 6 days just to get 40 hours just tops it. Enjoy your retirement brother and don't look back when you get there. You don't owe anybody anything. You've earned it. I'm happy for you.

Worked 10.25 hours today, made 39.25 hours for the week. Gotta work tomorrow so the first 45 minutes will be straight time.

Thanks guys. I've already got events planned in Mar, April, June and Aug. Likely event in June (still in the planning phase). Within weeks of the fateful day, I know I'm going to wonder how I had time to work.

A couple of years ago, it seemed so far off. It will come around, be ready to grab it by the balls and squeeze hard!

Damn, just had an unsettling thought: what if that light at the end of the tunnel is a freight train?

At work, another 15 minutes and I'll be at my 40. I might get an hour or 2 of ot. Only pulling 2 loads it looks like so another short day. Which is fine because I really don't like 6 day weeks.
