Good Tuesday morning driver's, got to drive around the plant on forklift yesterday. So many TMC flat beds. Guy said we were loading 37 of them yesterday . Glad I'm on the other side of the plant.

PVC pipe and PEX pipe. When you look for pipe at store look for silver line or IPEX on it and that's us.

 

Good Wednesday morning driver's. A storm is brewing in the Gulf and we are supposed to get between 4-8" Wednesday - Friday hope we get the lesser.

Good morning driver's bad rain since yesterday already got 2.80+" so far and that's not the storm. Top things off garage door spring broken yesterday and need a new one top panel . Good thing I went back to work.

Good morning driver's sent home yesterday due to the storms, they cancelled 30 flatbeds yesterday not looking good for work today either. We have 9" of rain so far and it's still coming down.

All's good here lost power at 07:30 and just came back on at 18:00. No worse for wear here. Hope your ok. Total 10.62" of rain and creek receding.

Looking at pictures of the storm damage this morning. Looks like @Tiedie is cut off from the world. I26 bridge is washed out in Erwin TN. I 40 is washed out in the gorge Makes for a long trip to NC from TN and all points west. This is going to affect transportation for a long time to come.

 

I'm good need gas and to get to moms to see and get her to safety.

 

Stopped at the old terminal on Thurs. to say hi to everyone. When I was telling them how much I missed working, they told me I was full of shit! (Imagine that!)

While I miss the people, I sure as hell don't miss being bounced around that daycab every day, or the bullshit re-arranging my trailer 2 or 3 times to make everything fit, strapping shit in, etc.

Good morning driver's, mu update It's bad here there is no potable water, electricity, gas. The Interstates are closed, the only way in for trucks is from I-26 thru SC. I-40 from TN is gone I-40 from Statesville is closed you cannot get up the mountain from Old Fort NC closed. Please pass this along.
DON'T TRY TO COME TO OR THRU ASHEVILLE THERE'S NOTHING. WE ONLY NEED SUPPLIES.

Yes thank you, she is fine and my sister lives within a mile away. Haha funny thing is I got to moms and I see my sister's car . I let myself in a called out and to my relief I get a hello back. She has power back . My immediate family is good all accounted for and safe.
Like I said before it's really bad here. I live 20 miles NW of AVL and were spared this time.
