Truck driver b.s.

When I retire as long as I'm still mentally sharp I'll keep my cdl in case I get a part time gig somewhere.

 

I go to renew at the end of February and intend on keeping my CDL and on my NC med-form1 putting exempt interstate, the pre employment physical guy told me to do it to keep my CDL.
He said either intrastate or interstate exempt will work.
I'll find out.

7 degrees here, might hit 5 degrees yet.
Wednesday morning is supposed to be the worst, -6 for the low. Truck won't be shut off. We'll leave it running all night. She's got two 100 gallon fuel tanks and I've added anti gel.
Just gotta get through this friggin cold snap.

 

Please be careful out there today and try to stay warm.

 

Well only 4 from my department should up today. I've been moving pipe around and staying warm.

Good morning driver's 9* this morning. Hope everyone stays safe,warm today.

About the same as usual I never think of taking pictures. Nowadays I have to get undressed to get to my phone .

 

It's 5 degrees right now, the high today is going to be 9 degrees with windchill between 15 and 20 below zero. Just brutally cold. I left the semi running all night to keep it aired up and not have to worry about the old 18 year old truck starting. I add fuel treatment to it everytime I fuel it up. Truck should be nice and warm this morning. Be safe drivers.
Thankfully this will be my last winter in a big truck!
