Well I got a breakfast sandwich on Friday and was then told Saturdays would be coming back. 1 driver once a month to start but it's expected to go back to 2 drivers every other week. I guess the sandwich was supposed to make me feel like they where doing something great for me, lol. It really sucks to work 6 days a week. In addition to longer days and crappy equipment. 18 year old truck is getting antifreeze and soot in the fuel filter again.
Man I can't wait to retire from this bs company and go find a casual part time job somewhere. 6 months to go.....

Hang in there just make it to the finish line. I wouldn't even talk about retirement. Then when you go inside the week before and say Friday is my last day.

That was my plan but unfortunately I need some information from hr about 3 months in advance and that's going to let the cat out of the bag.

Well it's Monday, first week of February. .oderat Temps for winter in Michigan. 40 today then upper 20s and low 30s for the rest of the week. That's better than that deep freeze sub zero crap we had. Foggy here this morning so that could mean low visibility.
    Be safe drivers.

Had this knot head come ripping past me. Had to been floored with how fast he passed me. Did a lane sweep, looked like he got the speed wobbles (super lifted) and lost control. Smacked the rear of a commodities tanker, flipped, and slid several yards. He was ok.

Playing musical trucks again. 18 year old truck is back in the shop for antifreeze in the fuel filter again.
Back in the cat auto, I think a bearing in the driveline or the trans is failing, growling like a bitch. I'm so tired of crappy equipment.
