Truck driver b.s.

Good morning driver's, spring took a day off today only 56 today's high.
But back to darn near 70 tomorrow and 60 through the weekend.

 

That's motorcycle riding weather! Only 20 here right now and my bike is still tucked away and plugged in for the winter.

 

Well one good thing about this cat truck is it has heated seats, lol. All kidding aside it's great when your back hurts.

 

Good morning driver's saw 71 yesterday but only 65 today. Hope everyone has a good and safe day today.

 

Icy this morning, everything had a coating of ice. Steps on the truck are slick.supposed to warm above freezing today. Main roads are salted but secondary roads are icy.

I probably won't know until the end of the day if I am working Saturday or not. I really hate having to work 6 days a week. It just makes me want to retire that much more.
5 months 3 weeks to go..........

Guess who's bringing us lunch today? You guessed it right my former employer , I ordered the most expensive deli sandwich on the menu from the deli. $13.00 sandwich .

They called it a new Yorker pastrami and corned beef Ruben style. Was darn good with real onion rings.

 

And it's going to taste soooooooooooo good!

 

Well it's Saturday morning and I'm up having coffee and getting ready to go to work. I haven't worked a Saturday in months which was good. I hate working 6 days a week, 5 days is enough. Cold here this morning, 20 degrees. The rest of February looks like its going to be cold. Just gotta get through February and then the Temps should start to moderate a bit.

It was delicious the salesman was nice this time and didn't try to make things uncomfortable for both of us.
I thanked him for lunch and went back to shantytown.

Monday, cold 14 degrees here. February in Michigan is no fun. It's going to be cold for at least the next 2 weeks. But hopefully this will be my last winter in a big truck. Saturday was a joke, 3 hours. Pulled one load and transfered a load from one building to another. Truck stalled when I first started it up, it looses its prime sometimes and I have to prime the fuel system, pita. Really getting tired of this junk equipment. Only good thing about this cat truck is the heated seat! Lol.

Hang in there man. We have 40 with rain coming in tomorrow and Wednesday and part of Thursday so I get to work inside with all the eyes. It'll be ok I'll be there as a support/anchor.then back to shantytown for me.

 

It's 15 and clear on the Colorado front range today. Snow coming in tomorrow.
