Ok breaking news they made everyone take forklift training class again since our records were washed away in the flood. Then they called everyone to the conex for another meeting and informed us that they fired our manager . Can't say I didn't see it coming. He got really bad about micro-managing.
I told one of my coworkers to be careful what they wish for because we might get something worse..
Today we have 3 trucks scheduled for pickup and I am willing to bet a truck from Canada too.

Been short days all week, I hope today is the same.
After today 16 weeks to go.......

 

Good morning driver's it's Monday and a 4 day week for me. Never had Good Friday off before.

I hate mondays, lol. Nope we never get good Friday off. But I'm looking forward to church service on Friday, that always makes things better for me and able to tolerate the crappy job.
16 weeks to go........

 

Back to work. Truck in shop. Too many trucks in for service, not enough trucks. Had me in this rental.


My truck is back tonight, so "yay" I guess?

 

Good morning driver's hope everyone has a good and safe day today.
Unloaded 2 trucks from Canada by 10:30 everything was laced in like tires again. Getting tired of these trucks bring us crap we don't need. We're running out of space in our whse. Sent a load to Kingman AZ and Lawton OK , a 2 stopper. Actually found time to get my new roof installed too
As you can see it's held on with banding and zip ties. Should protect me from most rain and hail, but most importantly the sun.

 

72 yesterday, in the 40s today.
Still slow at work and I'm loving the short days.

 

Truck had to go back to the shop. Wonder what's waiting for me?

Good morning driver's yesterday we got another 2 trucks ready for shipping and after lunch I got the privilege of my civic duty to appear on the pressure washing line. My co worker sent out 2 full trucks and some LTL. Can't wait to see what today brings.

 

International seats suck. That is all.

My POS loaner with less than 500 miles is broke down for the second time. Back in the fifteen year old Ottawa Truck pulls better than anything on the yard just severely lacking in creature comforts.

 

I drive a trash truck and do municipal waste with an automated side loader (ASL).
Soon to be trained to operate a front loader.
Off to work now, be safe everyone

 

New guy is learning about how often our pos trucks and equipment break down.
My 18 year old freightliner is hanging in there, fingers crossed.
