Merry Christmas everyone! Staying home, no visitors this year. May go see a shitty movie just to get out of the house. Christmas day tends to get boring.

    Merry Christmas .

Back a few years ago sadly I not sure what brand or if it was custom built .

But it included 3 cameras one watched front the other 2 watched the side mirrors.

It saved the drivers butt when a DUI driver drove under the trailer .

Unless you can prove otherwise it is always the Truck drivers fault .

Well I have to eat my words, had a pleasant surprise this morning when I went in. Christmas bonus check. I don't think it was as much as last year but at least they gave us something and that is very much appreciated.

32 degrees at 7am. Warm up is coming. It'll melt all the snow. I think we have 4 days of rain forecast starting Friday.
    Have a good one drivers.

Having worked so many different and strange shifts over the years .

I have to say I am a when I get up person so if that works out to being a morning person so be it.

Then my mornings have started anytime in the 24 hour day.

Truck back. They replaced the steer wheels and tires. We'll see if that fixes the shaking. Roads look fantastic (checked cameras) tonight, should make good time.
    Edit to add: Running great!

This is my last day of new years time off, back to work on Tuesday. But man has it been nice and much needed. I did nothing but cook, lol. And watched some movies on TV, that's something I rarely do.

Well spent down time at home is always Good.

At times I kinda miss taking a paid road trip .

Then I think of finding a nice dry spot to adjust the brakes long before automatic slack adjusters when things were wet and sloppy.
