We got a driver out sick so I'm driving 2 trucks today, basicly moving his around the yard from dock to dock. I hate his truck, p.o.s. cat truck.

Just enough to look kinda cool.
    I
Always wondered how those trucks were, if I remember they were mostly international.

No the truck I'm talking about was built by cat, cat engines too. Only made a couple of years, absolute crap trucks, serious wiring and electrical issues, they eat injectors too.

Yeah I thought they were based off a international “chassis” and I thought cat stopped making road motors in like 2012 but yet again I’m wrong… :anonymous:

They were made by Navistar International. I drove a CT660 super dump for a few years, it was a good truck when it ran right. Did have wiring problems and would derate all the time. I think the current owner ended up changing the dash cluster/computer a that fixed the de rating issue.

Someone plowed into this dollar general on my route. I suspect speed/alcohol involved.

Just got done driving. Did okay. We did some city driving but I wasn't behind the wheel at the time. It went okay. The shifting in the truck we drove is not the best...

Hey hey hey, don’t be encouraging distracted driving.@Squirt dont worry about being able to shift perfectly each time, every truck/transmission/motor is going to be different. Even if everything is the same and they are both off the assembly line they’ll just shift different.

It might just have been napping while driving due to blood alcohol level.

That was kinda a private personal joke !

I would take drinking and eating over being on the phone any time.

Your eyes are still on the road not the phone.

    Has the pay improved ?

I refused a job with them out of Carlisle back at least 12+ years ago.

It takes so long to go from point A to B with permit loads. Sitting more then driving.

I never really sit waiting on permits up to 8 axles. A big trailer might but I have no interest in pulling one.

I make enough for me. I need the health benefits for my stepdaughter more than a fat pay check.

Well starting my day out with a drive tire flat, going to the tire place to get it fixed. It has some air but not much, nail in tire.
