Brought back memories of a Deep Coal mine in WVA on top of a mountain (hill) it was so tight the crane picked up the back of the trailer just enough to spin it about 270 degrees to get out.

The other option was backing down about 2 miles of access road .

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
The last couple of weeks, again, they're sending my truck out at night for linehaul. Almost every day the other driver leaves some kind of garbage behind or screws something up. Day before yesterday, he left me with a burnt out headlight to get fixed, then I hear about how long I was in the yard before getting on the road. Yesterday, he gets back (really late) and tells me it de-rated on the way into the yard and has a solid red check engine light and DEF exhaust system failure code. :angrygirl:Damned thing will probably be down again for weeks. It's back to being in a different truck every day.

Yesterday morning, I heard that a guy I used to work with dropped over from a massive heart attack on Wed., 53 yo. Damned shame, nice guy. I guess he showed up for work and someone told him he looked like hell and should go to see a doctor, which he didn't do.

    Only 60 Fridays to go...but who's counting?

Saturday morning, having my coffee and getting ready to go in to work. I fueled the truck up at the end of the day yesterday so I'm good to go. Truck is plugged in so she shouldn't take long to warm up. We have some seriously cold weather coming in for next week, lows in the single digits or below zero.
When it gets that cold we just leave the trucks running all night and never shut them off. Cheaper than a service call.

US highways are my preferred way to travel on a motorcycle, you see more and it's more relaxed.
In a big truck it's all the same to me, lol.

I got so bored driving Interstates I would get really sleepy during the day at night I was fine!

US Route 2 from Superior WI across the UP to I75 was a drive I was glad I was able to do.
