    For $10 it's worth a try.
It does, but a tire repair kit is used 1st and then that. If I were you, I would seriously look at on board air.

Man, this essential stuff is getting a little up there in cost haha. Maybe I'll look for a little compressor on CL.

It can for sure. Most of the stuff have has take years to acquire and is a never ending constant battle with adding more stuff. CL is a good source and since you still have some time it will probably yield some good stuff.

Maybe a box van would be better?

Like one of those dodge or mercedes tall vans? I drove one when I picked up bodies. Even had a sleeper in the rear. It would make the perfect mobile trapping/fur shed if it was 4wd and more ground clearance.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
If on a budget, why get a compressor. Just get a foot pump.

I only have a few essentials.

A variety pack of bungee cords.
    6 light-duty ratchet straps
A bungee-net to cover the whole bed if its filled with soft stuff
A trailer hitch and 7-pin adapter

Haven't had a need for much else.

Once I buy all this crap to keep in my truck, I'm likely to get bummed if I don't get to use it. I can't win.

This is a nice little trick from my friend who grew up in PA. Get an empty metal coffee can and keep a big candle in it for the winter months. Then if shit goes real south, it'll provide a little heat and light.

I have two tow straps -- one with hook and one with loops- jumper cables (I've jumped more vehicles than I can even remember), a craftsman three drawer toolset, another craftsman tool box with assorted ratchet straps, spray lubes, hammer, crow bar, a clay thrower and two reactive target cubes. Not really survival ready, but it's a mobile tool shed more than anything. I DO need to get a high lift and put a spare CV in the truck

JB Sucks, its failed me time and time again... Epoxy is better (when zip ties are out of the question), but fiberglass mesh/resin is the ultimate fix! Not too practical for the "truck 911 kit" but in general... Just had to represent!
