I have worked with insurance companies and car repair with my composites business.

You need good insurance, and your truck may very well be totaled. your crank shaft is completely trashed

That may well be totaled. There will be so many gremlins from mounts and brackets that aren't straight.

I hope you get set back up with everything timely. USAA are a buncha thugs when it comes to getting stuff for their customers- I love them!!

even if they did and dont call you, they will likely put it on the wreck. tow companies are thiefs. the last vehicle my wife wrecked, i followed the tow to the repair shop from the accident. when i got the bill, they had charged the ins. company a tow to the tow yard, overnight charge, then a rehook and a tow to the repair company. i told the ins. company but they didnt seem to care. a total tow charge of $880.

When my buddy totaled his sport bike that was insured through USAA, they didn't let him pull parts but they gave him full retail value (what he paid for it, he kept receipts) for every aftermarket part on the bike. He ended up getting way for the bike than he could have sold it for.

I don't know if I have the receipt for the bumper or the sound system, it would be very nice to get all that back. It would be a damn shame to see that bumper just get scrapped.

seriously though..sorry about your truck. If airbags were replaced by giant spikes there'd be a lot less retards on the road. Hell, Richmond, BC would become a ghost town overnight ! :D

Thanks again shitty drivers. That sucks big time! Props to you for being quick enough to avoid a head on, and hopefully it's just axle/leaf damage and not the frame. Looks like maybe you might get lucky and not have a totalled truck on your hands.

There is a little, left side of the bumper and a little bit on rear left 1/4 of the box. I haven't heard anything about the dropping and no one answered when I called. I went by there earlier in the day and the two guys that were working on their car there wouldn't let me in, I just wanted to grab my sun glasses and take some pictures. I had to walk around the fence to get that one picture I did and it was the only angle I could get. I will be going there on Monday and getting more pictures. I literally thing he slammed right in to my left rear wheel and bounced off of it. It broke the shock absorber, bending the bracket on the frame, and broke apart the spring pack.
