Also, so you would not recommend lowering the front shocks to 1.75?

Axle wrap is when the axle tries to roll instead of the tires turning. Think of the block as extending the focal point of an arm further from the spring. The block allows more leverage making it easier for the axle to rotate instead of the tires turning. I will find a YouTube video and link it for you.

I was just joking about the heavy front bumper. If you lower the front you might run into your tires rubbing.

Your truck looks like it's level.

When you level a truck typically you want the apex of the front fender flare to match the apex of the rear fender flare. This would be leveling out the front and the rear.

Most people don't like this look because while the truck is level, it doesn't LOOK level. Your eyes are getting caught up on the fact that you have a larger wheel gap in the front than the back, making it look like the truck has a bro lean.... but it doesn't.

Measure the distance to the apex of both your flares. It looks pretty spot on level to me but always hard to tell without putting a measuring tape to it.

It's hard to describe but a lot of people want the wheel gaps to match... thinking that makes a truck level. But leveling kits should mean the fender flares match up more so than the gap. I think this looks better and balances a truck out much better but typically they look better on the long beds more so than the short beds because the length of the wheel base on longer trucks makes the rake look more significant than on short beds.

I think your truck is level, you just don't like the leveled look.

Adding an AAL will make your truck sit perfect with just a slight rear high angle, which is where it should be.First measure your truck too see if its level now,its hard too tell by sight only.

I have a similar set up to yours. A 1.5 inch AAL gave me 2 inches in the back, so I have a slight rake now. Also, after the AAL I started having the driveshaft vibes. I would recommend 1- leaving it as is (it looks great), or 2 - going down a notch, in that order. Your third option would be an AAL or blocks, but be ready cause you might have to start chasing vibes.

Edit - that said, I like the extra lift and a little rake. But I did have to get a Tom Wood's driveshaft cause nothing else stopped my vibes.

Well, judging by the replies - I think I should just leave it be. If I lower the front I run the risk of having rubbing issues. If I do an AAL or Block, I run the risk of driveshaft vibrations.

Do you carry weight at all? If so I would say add something like a Toytec add a leaf. If not, I would lower the front to 1.75. mine sits almost perfectly level at 1.75.

What size tires do you have?

    Also, I never carry weight.

I don't understand the term scrubbing in the context of this subject. Could you please explain? Does it mean you don't want to loose height?

Okay, so I have made a final decision - I will be calling my shop Monday and telling them I want to lower my 5100's up front down from 2.5" to the 1.75" setting. I have the TSB rear leafs. Trimming has already been done when the shocks were originally installed. I should sit "level" then. I do not want to do an AAL or Block as I do not want to risk vibrations from the driveshaft.

I don’t go off-road or flex or anything. I also have had the cab mount (?) trimmed and plastic trimmed already.
