Hey my 2RZ-FE engine feels like its kinda struggling when it starts up. It starts up directly to 1000rpm then immediately drops to about 500 rpm and I rev up the engine to about 1000rpm for about 3 seconds and then it runs normal-ish at about 700rpm. When its at 700rpm it runs like there's a vacuum leak but I've hooked up a smoke machine to it and the only places it comes out of is the Air filter box and the throttle body. I dont know what else to do.

have you or anyone else adjusted the throttle stop screws? the throttle body is supposed to be completely closed at idle and that screw is not supposed to be touching the throttle linkage. it cannot be used to adjust idle speed. if you try to do that, it will work for about 100 miles then run like shit after that when the computer rests the fuel mixtures.

only the computer can adjust idle speed not you
