Recently purchased the canopy, but I feel like my truck looks a bit imbalanced- wondering if larger tires or wheels could do the trick? Currently have a 1.5 inch leveling kit on the front, but wishing I had done a 3 inch. Any advice?

Truck looks good man. Maybe a larger more aggressive tire... then perfecto.

Would definitely look better with bigger tires/ higher lift as long as fuel mileage is not an issue to you. I'm not a fan of the bed caps either, but obviously your keeping that ;)

Right off the bat i bought t4r and ko2's... I always thought mine looked naked without mudflaps. Then when i put them on, I thought it looked like it was missing sidesteps/rocksliders. I picked up a set of oem takeoff sidesteps on craigslist for $160. Then I started liking the side profile more. ( side note... if I did it over again, i'd get some rocksliders instead) That's what i plan to switch out soon. You'll kina see what i mean when u see these photos.

I had the same problem with the cap it looks like you're having, the stock springs sag pretty bad under that constant weight...
Also like the rack without the cap, but with the cap I think too much is going on.

Yeah, I love the cap and need it for camping. I knew I should have gone with the 3 inch! What tires would you recommend?

Its your tires need more aggressive and one size up is all. Then think about lift. Could always lower your billies to zero and add ome 887 springs and uca's for 3" front. That lift is about 1200$ roughly. Looking good so far though!

I think you may need a bit more lift in the back, especially if your planning on 3" in the front. Other than that I think slightly higher and bigger tires would look great. You could always join the 255/85 skinnies club lol

Thanks everyone- good to know I'm not the only one that thinks something is missing...so tire size- any recommendations? These are 265/70 Open Country's from Les Schwab.

I’d change out the rims and tires. You can stay with 16inch rims but maybe something wider with a better offset. Tires you just need to go a little bigger.
Personally, I think 17inch rims would be a better look for your setup.

I'd get the crossbars and a box or wire basket for the canopy. Thats what I did. And lose those Chrome bolt on the wheels. Paint them. Then drop some aggressive AT's.
Once you are there prepare for the second mortgage because you will only want to continue the insanity that Tacoma ownership brings.
