Just noticed my first gen is leaning to the driver side about 1.25"
I measured both sides on pretty level surface.
I know there is some lean due to extra weight one driver side, the measurements were taken with no one in the truck and about 1/4 tank of gas.
Is this too much lean, I know its an older truck (2001) and it has a 3.5" lift.

You've been asking all of the same questions that are commonly asked; have you done any searching at all?

Taco lean is normal. Some leaf packs (aftermarket) account for this as well as coilover combinations. Worst case, you buy an adjustable coilover and add a little preload to the driver side.

Also, 3.5" is way too high for an IFS truck.

Welcome to the tacoma lean club! lol 1st gens are known for it like mentioned. Mine has had a lean for the 12 years ive owned it until I went SAS with coilovers in front. I did exactly like Kwikvette said and added just a hair more on driver side. Now its not as bad.
Does your 3.5in of lift include a body lift?
