So I accidently left my truck idle for about 2 hours... Should I be worried?

    Thanks.

I would be. How do you not notice your truck is running when you get out of it, and leave it that way for hours?

Only ways I can think someone would "accidentally" leave their truck idling for 2 hours:
    drunk
    on drugs
medical condition, wouldn't call that an "accidental" though
    Just plain ole STUPID!

Oh, wait! This is 3rd gen.

I once left a work van idling overnight. I walked away and got side tracked. No issues

Worried about the truck? No. You just wasted gas.

Concerned about your ability to focus? Maybe. Depends on if there were extenuating circumstances or you miss big items like this all the time. If the latter, I'd be concerned about safety related issues driving/home/workplace.

Hopefully it's no more 'mental' than leaving your headlights on all day once every 6 years or forgetting to thaw out the steak for dinner.

What's a little more concerning is that you'd actually have to ask the question.

But the really good news is that no one easy jacked your wheels during that time.

It's only a problem if you are wearing your underpants over your pants.

No, you'll be fine. I did that in my Mazda3 on the day that we picked up our puppy. We were excited, there was a ton going on in the parking lot as we pulled in (big adoption event) and another car whipped right in next to me as I was parking and it grabbed my attention. Anyway, 90 minutes later we come out with our puppy and I was like "Hmm, it sounds like our car is running..." Sure enough, it was. (Like the 3rd Gen, the Mazda3 has remote fob so you don't have to have the key in the ignition). Anyway 6 months later the car is fine. Everything in our house, however, is chewed up or otherwise destroyed...

Agreed. Not having a key in an ignition still throws me off. Add to it my kids fighting in the back seat, my dog barking at a cat, my wife yelling at me, my neighbor complaining about street parking, and I forget about more than my engine running.

No worry... I had patrol cars that would run for 24 hours and sometimes much more. I mean they only last 115K miles before they get miled out but you will be fine.
