Truck Names

i havent named my taco... had and old 1 ton big block mud truck i named Miss B Haven though

 

Haven't received her yet, but I'm thinking, "Maggie" , short for Magnetic Gray.

 

Mine is named "my truck". Very original huh?

My family doesnt really name our vehilcles, we just call them by their original name like "the suburban" or "the mustang" or "moms truck".

 

Haha, funny thread but I will admit my vehicles have all had names. My previous truck a 1997 4 cylinder Tacoma standard cab was purple so we affectionately called it the "purple people eater"

My new 2009 SuperWhite DC is named Sweet Sue....why...I was being funny with some friends and my wife when they asked me what I was going to name it and well....it stuck.

I'm not sure why, but I've always named my vehicles. My first car was a Subaru SVX named Gladys, then I had an 03 Turbo S VW Beetle and named it Helga (she was a b**** it fit ). The Tacoma is Jay.

 

My Truck Name Is called RHINo!!!!

 

My 3 year old niece named my truck Bruce.

 

I've named most of my vehicles:

mine is "the Taco"
wife's Pathfinder "Mommy's Short Bus" my 3 year old came up with that.

previous cars:
84 Chevy Cavalier Wagon "The Mighty Blue Streak"
95 Dodge Neon "Albedo"
76 Chevy Scottsdale w/ 44's and a 454 big block "Monster"
66 Mustang "Rosie" she was red and sally is too obvious

 

First vehicle to be named was my 00 chevy - Emerald.

The taco has been deemed Tessa.

Whoa...I was just thinking about starting a thread like this...too much time on TW! My truck's name is "Piru".

 

i just call my truck "she" or "her"....all vehicles are shes and hers.....

 

I named mine "Sheila." HOWEVER! You must say it in an Australian accent. You must.

Only requirement in my truck apart from not using the bed as a trashcan :|

 

Not a fan of naming anything inanimate. However My 1st truck in high school had a name that sorta stuck. We were walking out to the parking lot after school and saw some of those 'truck nutz' hanging off of some pile of truck, and my buddy had to point out that my (sun bleached, used to be tan, ford ranger) could justify having some of them, because my truck was in fact the color of a PENIS (skin colored). Thereafter my ford ranger was referred to as THE PENIS. . . . good times.

 

It is not a boat. You name boats, not cars\trucks.

 

My black 2010 DC Taco's name is:
Black Jack Taco

i refer to mine as either ol blue or the billy goat..
