Truck not starting up

    Reserected from the dead.
    There has got to be a huge starter relay. No way all those start amps are going thru the cab push button.

    I'd check the connections on that 1st.

    There is a brake light fuse in the interior fuse box (under the steer wheel) check that.
    I had this same problem when I wired my taillights backwards and blew the fuse.

    First time turning the turn the truck on, I heard a click from underneath me and then the truck would never crank over.
    Replaced the fuse and it works fine. These trucks have a check to make sure the brake like circuit is working before they fire up.

    *EDIT: I said this because it seems possible with you also have light bar issues. not sure how you have everything wired but worth a quick check

    Thanks. My problem is intermittent so it’s been a bitch to find. Maybe brake light switch?

    My rear LED bar which stopped working a week or so before the ignition started messing up now works well and the ignition doesn't really fail anymore
