    Hello!

    I have a 2006 tacoma v6, I've had a reoccurring issue where my truck won't start..
The dash lights up but it doesn't turn whatsoever. There has been a few times i went back out in 10-20 mins and it started up no problem sounding normal. I think it may be a fuse or someone said neutral switch? I'm not too educated in mechanics but I am an apprentice electrician and if I can fix it at home without having to pay for a tow to the mechanic that would be great! If anyone has experienced the same problem or has some advice it would be greatly appreciated!!
*note: I live in Canada and it is currently winter conditions below zero*

Do you have a manual or automatic transmission?

First check the battery charge, make sure it’s carrying a sufficient charge. Then check the battery cables.make sure they are tight on the terminals. Check the connections , especially the grounds. Make sure they are tight and not rusted. Check the connections on the starter for the same. These are the things I start with and go from there if they are all good.
