    I think that is just for the new member article. If you pick a random new member with 14 posts, chances are they aren't going to be contributing much to TW.

    As for TOTM, I agree that posts counts shouldn't have to do with anything. It should be a 3 week input of the 1 person you want to nominate and at the end you tally those up and have a vote of 2 or 3 people trucks in a separate poll.

    For the idea I'm volunteering to work on.... has to do with the NEWLY registered people to TW.

    Say for instance - for last month, we have 50 new registered users. I wanna know who the top 3 posters are (of those 50). I'm not going to do a feature on new members who only visited one time that entire month. THat'd be a total waste. I wanna do a feature on the new folks who keep coming back and actually enjoy the site regularly.

    Let's get this thing started. We can all nominate someone (other than yourself) and count those up by lets say Monday, November 23 and we take the top 3 (or however many) nominated and have a week long vote of just those top 3 to see who wins.

    I come back and enjoy it regularly but I'm not a new member or a high post person so why cant mine be truck of the month by no mean's am I complaining, there need's to be a better way maybe a randomized setting for the pic's I dont know this is just my 2 cents.

    Read the post that you quoted. Janster is NOT talking about TOTM. She's talking about doing a monthly feature on some new member, what brought them to the site, what kept them coming back, what kind of rig they have, etc.

    The low post count and join date filters would be to restrict it to only NEW members that haven't been around long enough to make a name for themselves.
