    Running water over the engine is insanity to me. I am not even sure I would let a person who said such a thing tow my vehicle.

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    I think a break down in communication or the Roll back driver was clueless.

    I remember in the old days unloading dry bulk tankers at Concrete plants using the exhaust system turbo un loader spraying water on the radiator to cool things down . That was a quite common practice recommended by The shop foreman.

    I don't recall overheating but stories of vapor lock. Plus the gas crisis and 8 mpg vehicles.
