If/when my paint gets bad I'll be doing this for sure. I used "custom coat" bedliner spray on a jet ski and it turned out bitchin. I know some people think it looks bad, but who fucking cares what other people think? I don't mod my shit to please other people's eyes.

 

Definitly this for color options. But my concern has always been the added weight after applying a product like this.

 

It can't weigh more than the bottle it gets sprayed from. You're talking about the difference between taking a piss before you get in your truck or not compared to the weight of paint. 5-10lbs more than paint spread across the entire vehicle?

 

I think this color looks good, with mat black rims.
