About 3 weeks ago my truck wouldnt start out side the service station. Would crank and crank but no start. Called some kin for a tow but after about 45 minutes it fired up. My buddie put his reader on it and it said Maf sensor. Only 74k miles so called the dealer they had it a week and a half waiting on parts and lazy people to show up. Finally got it back and seemed fine. The next morning the engine light was as well as my cruise no longer worked. Called them back and they said with an engine light cruise wont work and i could swing by and they would reset it, but that evening before i made it over the truck wouldnt fire again and reading saw code they just screwed me out of 600 bucks to fix for the Maf. So been 3 days waiting until I can get a trailer to haul it back and make them fix what i paid for. In the mean time I fired it up tonight to see if it would start and it did but the Check fuel cap message is on. So checked it but it was tight so took it out and the truck started panting like it was going to shut off. so shoved the cap back on and it came back to idle.... dont know if it is all related but this is new. any ideas?

Are you the original owner? Sounds like something may have happened in the wiring harness?

Some people on this forum have jabbed the wiring harness going through the firewall. All sorts of goblins appear with that nonsense.
