The trick that so many people just want to ignore is finding out what is wrong FIRST, then replace or repair. I see too many people with the shotgun approach to diagnosing problems. Left pulls when braking are not exclusive to the front. A weak right rear, or grabby left rear will do the same thing. If you can, raise the front, then try to turn the wheels by hand. do they both move freely? If so, have someone GENTLY apply the brakes while you turn each wheel. Does one grab before the other? If not, then raise the back of the truck and do the same thing. Also look for fluid leaks. Brake fluid, if it gets on a pad or shoe, can actually cause it to get sticky, and grab instead of apply normally.

When you say that it pulls, are we talking a hard pull with a slight brake apply, or a slight pull with a hard apply? or medium? More information would be beneficial.

When I apply the brakes and am almost to a complete stop it pulls . It doesn't do it when I slow down just when I'm almost to a stop

ok. how about the other test, with the wheels in the air? That should give us an indication. Sounds more like a binding caliper at this point, but not 100% sure.
