Sometimes when I’m accelerating (usually when I’m giving a good amount of gas) my truck will go and then lag out for about 3secs, and then just keep going like nothing happened. There’s no noises or anything when it happens.

    any ideas? Fuel pump?

Its a computer controlled truck . Got any codes ? There are a lot of computer controlled devices that could glitch causing this .
Mileage ? Fuel pump could cause this . do you have a gauge to watch to see if the fuel pressure drops ?
What rpm does it happen at ?
Last tune up ? plugs , air filter, throttle body cleaning , cam timing gears VVti filters ?

Or the Brake switch is intermittently going on...

Due to the unintended throttle issue years ago they made a safety program change. If the brake and throttle are pressed at the same time the throttle will die.

I have experienced this twice on my truck, I don't remember what gear it was in but its very weird. Accelerating then it was like i left off the throttle for about 1 second, Maybe the Throttle pedal sending an intermittent signal to the ecu? It is Drive by wire.

No codes but I do have pretty big feet so the brake pedal thing could actually be it
