No, it's just a general terminology. In this case it's aimed towards anything that could mess up the AFR so yes the sensor could also be a candidate for the problem

Not likely since you don't have a 02 code to go with it

Id start with seeing if adequate fuel is getting to the block, as you already know from there back to the fuel tank is good

You can rent a fuel injector tester or see if a buddy has one. They're really easy to use on our trucks

When you give it throttle and it bogs, does it have load on it?

I seriously think you need to look at the ignition system. If it's bogging without any load on it, that tells me it isn't a fuel issue.

Not necessarily, it could be getting enough fuel to idle, but past idle it can't provide enough fuel. I wouldn't rule it out, but yes also check the ignition components.

My reasoning is that it takes very little fuel to spin an engine with no load and wouldn't be putting any real strain on the fuel system. If it was really the fuel system causing it to bog without load, then I suspect would be totally undrivable.

On the other hand, if the injectors arent firing or are firing at the wrong time, that could also be a problem, but seems less likely than an ignition issue.
