Just wondering if this is a common problem for most. I have a 2012 tacoma.

When I engage the truck into 4H/4L (i am also turning the steering wheel sharp left/right when getting out of my drive way), the truck seems to stall when i initially engage into 4H/4L. I press on the gas and nothing happens. It does jerk forward a bit.

The stall happens to last about 10 seconds-20 seconds. The 4x4 light is on(not blinking). Happens pretty much every time. Also It stalls when I am backing up in 4H/4L. Anyone else have.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Don't use 4wd in your driveway. Loose surfaces only. Read the manual.

sounds like you are experiencing binding. Like stated use 4wd on loose surfaces only.

Why even turn on 4wd if you don't need it? Unless you're driveway is gravel/dirt on a steep hill
