Looking to see if anyone else had the rear of the Tacoma up on jack stands and spun a tire? Does yours sound like a horrible gear mesh/gap clunking noise when you spin one tire? I've been battling a horrible truck shake while braking. Rotors on front replaced, no change.checked runout on rotors, under .002". Rear drums replaced, it got worse. Changed the drums again and went back to the same level of shake. If I apply emergency brake while moving the shake is present so that's really leading to the rear obviously. I have noticed that there is a huge amount of rotational play from the drum to the wheel studs, but no up and down movement. Wheel bearing seems good. I do have a surging while at highway speeds if you approach in incline and accelerate a little but not enough to downshift, I think that's completely separate though. I'm thinking of draining the rear dif fluid and checking it just to make sure it looks clean. Going to check torque on rear suspension components today but I'm really growing tired of this truck. Checked rear axle run out and it's under .002. Any suggestions is welcomed please. Kind of our of patience with this truck now.

It sounds similar to warped brake drums my old tundra had in warranty, but they replaced the star adjusters in the drum also.
