I have read it should not, although it also means it is working correctly. In other words, either the ECM or another sensor is malfunctioning.

I tapped the ECM & no stutter.

I have checked many a sensor, however I am sure I have not checked all & some maybe more thoroughly than others.

I have been eyeballing the A/F sensor because with key on, no start, cold engine, the live date scan shows it fluctuating slightly.

Would someone please be able to check their "01-"04 3.4 & let me know what data shows up under the same circumstances? The MAF has a reading as well & the Maf Temp slowly climbs (key on, no start).

It would be very much appreciated & may be able to help steer me towards what to look at.

I am still working on the high/loping idle. We're getting there bit by bit....
