Every once and a while I'll start my truck after work and it takes an extra few seconds to fire up. During the start, it sounds like a friken dolphin laughing. Higher pitched chirp when turning over.

It's a 2013 with about 20,000 miles on her so I'm not really concerned something is seriously wrong. I'm assuming this is normal so just wondering if others can chime in.

    Thanks,

    Jay

If its misfiring and puttering thats not normal IMO. Even in my 2006 V6 on the coldest days like about -10 degrees it still would start right up.

The high pitch would be a belt slipping. Check your belts
