Another help thread where OP doesn't comment back on fix or status. If it were my truck, I would be posting up the status of the truck or the fix.

Did you two guys ever wonder what happened to the OP?.... It's been 3 weeks.

I'll check the thread in 6 months to see if 'she' posted the fix :)

    Good for you :)

It just so happened that I finished my duties and had some time to surf TW. :cookiemonster:

Same issue happened to me on 05 Taco. Wouldn’t start - no power. Jumped it but it acted odd when idling like occasionally trying to die and lights dimming for a second. Drove less than a mile and stalled at intersection. Luckily it stalled right next to a NAPA so I pushed it there to test. Battery registered to low to test and they recommended I clean the terminals first. Did it (they didn’t look particularly dirty to me) and then it started up right away but engine still hesitated a bit. After a few minutes revving and a few off on cycles it was back to normal. They tested battery and alternator and all checked out good. Weird

Anytime a battery is replaced or the cables are disconnected, cleaning the throttle body is a good idea. Carbon builds up in there and it can cause a low idle

Pretty sure the O.P. got his truck up and running a long time ago.
