Well, today I decided to look a little deeper into the wiring and noticed this when I bent the fuel pump resistor wiring. It bends when it's plugged into the resistor and it's straight with the bypass. This is a PSA to always check your wiring.

Once you get running again, spray a peppermint oil/water solution all around your engine bay, especially around wires and such.

As much as that sucks for the customer; it saves them tons of possible rework.

Alright. It's been running now that I've fixed the resistor wiring but I've noticed the rpms will drop to around 500 when braking hard and sometimes it jerks on acceleration. Any ideas on what can cause this?

How did you fix the wire?

Or this could be a new issue. Start over diagnosing. Check engine light lit? New error codes?

I used crimp connectors to wire it. No check engine light.

Change the oil, no matter how new it is. Because the computer and general performance depends on it.
I have a similar issue, but it improved immediately.after. turns out oil showing in the lower of the dipstick isn't good either. Engine is happy topped off. This may not help you, but it will eliminate a possibility.

Its likely (if you are lucky) the cat, O2 sensor or a leak in the exhast system.
Anything else indicaites a potentially larger problem.

If it's idling low around 500 try cleaning the throttle body

When it was stalling did the dash lights go out too? Like all electrical power (dash lights, headlights, etc) was being lost when the stall happened? If yes I'd check the ignition switch

Crimp connectors will do but solder and heat shrink is better. Post pictures of the repaired wire. Not sure how you were able to use a crimp connector when the damage is so close to the plug.

You could bypass the resistor, test drive. If the problem goes away then the repaired wire probably needs to be redone. Or maybe the plug isn’t snapped in tight?

I already cleaned the throttle body and when it was stalling the electronics all stayed on.

I removed the old plug and directly connected it to the wiring into the resistor.

When time allows it would be a better fix to find a new plug or used junkyard part cut back far enough to do a proper solder and heat shrink.
As long as it's not stalling on you, I'd drive it awhile before tearing into anything else.
Bummer you've had all that other work done and it was most likely that connection all along.
